hey folks - i'll get the league off the ground, but i'm definitely not interested in being commish any longer, and half-hearted at best in regards to playing.
i should probably be replaced altogether. my love for fantasy basketball has waned for a few seasons now, and i felt like my team was completely on autopilot last season.
it's somewhat bittersweet, as this is the 13th season of a league i started, so even the thought of stepping down isn't easy.

I can probably commish. Winters are relatively quiet for me besides a few short trips. Assuming draftime isn't too expensive I can handle that and input players to Yahoo. Smooth sailing after that.

A new IL roster spot
Injuries are inevitable, but now they're manageable with our added roster spot for inactive or injured players.
If one of your best players is out for a month, just place him in the Injured List (IL) slot on your roster and pick up a temporary replacement.
When your star returns to the hardwood, drop a player to make room and get him back on your active roster where he belongs.

Weekend of Oct. 24-25 I might be available as early as 6pm.

You can find the screen to do this by hovering over My Team and it'll be listed at the bottom. Or the big blue box at the top of the My Team screen (unless you X it).
If you do not pick keepers by then I will pick them for you.
Please also post on Rotoguru which will be the official record in case of any debate.

Please welcome RJ to the league. I'm letting him choose his keepers tonight as I can still change before the draft. A few of us are in other leagues with RJ mainly RWF so it should be an easy transition. At least a fellow wrestling fan and gurupie board member will take over for Tree.
Now that I am commishing this league, does anyone have any interest in making this a 20 dollar league? is anyone adamantly against putting a few dollars on it? I essentially consider this my NBA equivalent of Dirty Dozen and its already a lot of the same owners so it'll be easy to move the $ around the leagues.

I acquire Covington for some 3's, halfway through his first start he gets carted off. Sweet.
Not as bad as G20 I drafted a TE Jace Amaro and he was declared out for the season within an hour after the pick.

Yeah, congrats to Tosh, crazy finish.
Consider this - I was not in first the entire season until the late games on the last night of the year! And then I went ahead for a bit and Curry put him back in a tie.
Farn had Zach Randolph hit free throws to give back an extra 0.5 points I tied him for which would have given me the solo win. I came up a few assists and steals shy of more points so feel like i could have managed it better. Hard to do with a newborn.

Ok... so the retroactive stat thing. This is my best understanding.
Set your Thursday lineup with your best guys and its going to apply stats all at one time for Tuesday+Wednesday+Thursday as though those are all rolled together into a single day processing. So in my mind if for example your guy has a Tuesday/Thursday games then make sure to start that guy and its like he played a doubleheader.
I believe the only teams to play 2 games in that 3 day block are San Antonio, Boston and Sacramento.
So please keep that in mind.

We have a few candidates and I've asked the league to send me thoughts.
I also compared the two available teams and they are pretty comparable. I think a simple coin toss would be fine. Winner can choose which of the two teams they would like. I say that because in F101 we had 2 openings last year -- and one was stacked and one terrible, so we did a little mini-draft to be fair. Don't think that necessary here.

Da Bulls has an extra 6th rounder for Gang Green 11th in a pick in the Yahoo system. Harkless for Dwight Howard deal.
