PlasmaX was born to underprivileged parents on a farming community on the outskirts of rural Ararat. He attended hair dressers college and distinguished himself with his clipping style, winning the Ararat Golden Scissors Award for three years running. He left to join the Navy, citing the Village People as a major influence.

If any of you had half a brain out there, by looking at my team you would be able to work out what went wrong - no, it was not deliberate! Bloody Geoff worked it out before even speaking with me, he has a brain, even though it urges him to fulfill his cat poo eating fetish...
No takers?
Ok the Truth:
Planned to make 4 trades as all trade junkies do, sold Tinsley, Nailon, Haywood & Iverson. Picked up Brand & Battie to complete my forward & centres spots. Now looking at the 2 guards spots. Can you guess what it is? I wanted Ricky Davis for 500K which left me wanting Alvin Williams.
That's right! I clicked on Jason Williams (who is more expensive) by mistake and confimed with a second click in one, regrettable, season-ending click. To my depair, 90,000 cash left was staring me in the face? Was it a mistake? Was the screen reading right? NO, OH NO! I've stuffed up! Months & months of reading box scores, forum posts to end in one stupid trade.....
So there, it's out in the open now, all off my chest, now let me weep in silence.
I will return....

Dear TSN, Give PlasmaX a trade I say! Or at least run the following queries :
update set first_name = 'ALVIN' where first_name = 'JASON'; update set banked_cash = 90,000 + (value_jason - value_alvin);

You're right it did, but it wasn't a popup like this year. Never the less I wasn't the one who made the trade, it was someone else who had my password.

I know. I read post #107. I think it is BS because they're setting a precedent by taking peoples word that other people broke into their team and made trades. How are they going to give you a trade but not someone else who claims the same situation.

I could use an extra trade for that idiot that hacked into my team and picked up Bonzi Wells last week, does anyone have the number for TSN? Oh, wait, my evil twin tells me that he was the one that did that. Anybody got that number? I'll tell TSN that I was drunk and clicked on the wrong Bonzi. There is another Bonzi, right? Bonzi Glover? Bonzi Felton? Bonzi Plasma? I'm sure I meant to click on one of those Bonzi's...please give me back my trade!

Thankyou SmallWorld! I won't be making the same mistake again. I lose out on yesterday and today's scores, but still remain competitative.

If this is true we need someone from TSN to back up this action with some logical reasons, and we need plasma to tell us the moves he made after all.

Used my trade.
Sold Jason Williams for $5,190,000 + $90,000 = $5,280,000.
Bought Billups for $3,110,000 & Person for $2,080,000 = Total $5,190,000, funny enough that leaves me with $90,000!
Check my team tomorrow after the roster freeze using the link at the top of the thread if you don't believe I got a trade back.

Yes, Plasma, there is a Santa Claus. I think it is pretty cool that a new trade magically appeared.
Now if only I could get back the trade I made today. I'm getting a bad feeling about it. Traded one slightly injured guard for another slightly injured guard. Maybe there will be enough outrage about PlasmaX' mysterious new trade that Ultimate Hoops will give all of us one more trade? Kind of a Christmas Bonus thing. Anyway, I'm happy for Plasma, it is nice to see a guy get a break every now and then.

What SmallWorld should really do is put in a failsafe that won't allow people to make this error. For example, if you have 3 spots open, you couldn't pick up a player that would leave you with less than $1,000,000 ($500,000 x 2) in the bank. That way, owners could always pick up the necessary number of players to field a full roster.
It would be really, really easy to set this up and would prevent these types of problems.

Happened to a non-gurupie buddie of mine in SW Baseball last year. He sold someone, I forget who - Ruben Sierra maybe - and in what he described as a brain fart, picked up the same player. He appealed to SW and just like with Plasma, they gave him his spent trade back. If I remember, this was right after they first implemented the "are you sure you want to..." popup, making the move even dumber.

if TSN HAS given him an extra trade the only fair thing is to give everyone else an extra trade otherwise it is pure B.S. it is YOUR responsibility to know exactly what you are doing before you hit that button. what is the point of an "Are you sure" button if it's not taken seriously.

PlasmaX,
I am happy for you, but I want a trade too! I think we should all get 1 trade. At least I know that if I make a move like this, then TSN should give me the same treatment as you and the other stories in this thread. I am glad they have you a break, but that benefit should be available to all.

I once clicked on Calvin Booth (twice). I'd like to have both trades back please.
Seriously, adding a trade (even out of sympathy for the poor fella) isn't right. It does bring up alot of questions about the integrity of how the game is run. These (allegations of lack of integrity) haven't really surfaced their ugly head all year, but long-time Guripies will remember other instances of 'funny stuff'
How would you all feel in Monuments made a bone-head click and wanted an extra trade? That might affect someone's $5,000 bank account.

see,,what you all cant see in this whole picture is that if they did in fact give him an extra trade which i wont dispute. What prevents them (whoever the frick it is) from giving other homies extra picks without any of us knowing. Now that is what i call bullsheet. For 1st place and 5 dimes its worth it. Theres alot of greedy scumbags out there. I for one wont play this again knowing that trades can be given back.

Im not here busting balls to the managers that make bad moves. But for crying out loud man,,theres an idiot message that pops up saying ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO BUY/SELL,,,,,,,I mean come on now. And then get a free trade out of it. Screw that man. Im not calling this whole TSN fantasy game a scam,,but when someone has the power to give back a trade that aint cool. No one can police it. And like i said,,when you dealing with 5 dimes for the payoff,,,well you figure it out...IM OUT.....for next year that is..

I like LarryLegend's idea #129. To take it further how about if you sell a player and have a spot open you can't sell another until you buy one. Then there is no way this could happen. I've traded like PlamaX before but haven't made his mistake. I agree with Yo and others who don't like this because this may happen many times that no one knows about. Also, how many paying customers, who may not post here or didn't bother to ask for a trade after having something like this happen, have had their season ruined, gave up, and will never come back? This is really unfair, rules are rules.
