My frequent run-ins w/ DNPs prompted me to gather a collection of DNP standouts ("injury" or otherwise)

G
Francis (migrane boy)
Tinsley (dump him and risk losing 18 assists)
Anthony (flu,ankle,dinner appt.)
Cassell (game time decision)
F
Coleman (chairman of the board)
Odom (pass the duchie)
Marshall (always nicked up)
Trent (3 games in a row?)
C
Ilgauskas (foot transplant please)
LaFrentz (home sweet home)

Bench: McKie,Snow,GHill,MPeterson,Googs,RLewis,VanHorn.
Honorable mention to JWill for his convenient migrane in his return to Sacto.

I refuse to allow a DNP thread to exist without the name of the DNP king of all time:

Robert "Ice" Pack

You can always count on CWeb and Shaq to DNP once in a while, specially Shaq near the ASB.

How could I forget "Ice" Pack! He used to kill me until I swore off of him. Nice call.

How could you forget Camby? He has to be a captain on this team.

Although somehow he's officially retired in only his early 30's we have to include "Mutt" Geiger, STARTING!!!

Cotton Camby should start at center with DC and CWeb/Odom as forwards, and Francis/Anthony and Pack at the guard spots.

I don't think LaFrentz has missed a game all season (although there were a few where he might as well have stayed home).

And Ilgauskas has been surprisingly steady since his return this year.

Your centers for 2001-02 could certainly include the 2 O'Neals. Other qualifiers would be Marcus Camby (probably the poster child), Theo Ratliff, Lorenzen Wright, Calvin Booth, Michael Doleac, and occasionally Brad Miller.

my personal favorite here would be Lafrentz. guru is right he hardly misses a game, but wow. we figure the guy's on crack. he has a monster game and wants to celabrate, buys a bag and has 10 TSNP for as long as the stash lasts. i think u can count the number of times the guy put 2 good games together on one hand. and he's been doing it for at least the last couple years. it's a running joke in my devision, if you're thinking lafrentz don't pick him up after a good game.

That's what I meant by DNP for LaFrentz. He's consistently inconsistent. At 6'11", you should get 5 boards by accident.

I hope Jason Willliams gets an endorsement from Advil because he's missed a few games due to those pesky migraines. I'd get him on as atleast a reserve.
