Subject: Zero Gravity & Electricity

I confess my ignorance in grasping gravity. It's kind of like electricity to me - I don't understand it but I can flip a switch. However, I'm having a hard time finding the switch here: Memphis has a 3-10 schedule. Both Wright & Gasol are on this team. Gasols' change is understood through the obvious trading activity. Wright, on the other hand, is injured and not even on the playing rooster. My question is - why would Wright remain in zero gravity (no price change) for 7 straight trading days? This indicates some trading activity - true? Then, would the same number of people be buying him for 7 straight days when they see this schedule and his injury status? This leads me to believe that the bottom is not infinite and there is the possibility of zero gravity. Am I out to lunch on this one?

If a player ic currently on a sufficient percentage of rosters, he will not be subject to gravity, regardless of the lack of recent trading activity.

In the case if Wright, the most likely explanation is that he appears on some rosters (from earlier in the season) which have since been abandoned.

Thank's Guru. However, it still has some unanswered questions. On 1/31 Wright experienced $0 change and then 6 weeks of gravity decline of -$30k each day. For the last 7 days, however, he has been at $0 change. Because someone purchased or sold him on 1/31 he "leveled" out and reached zero gravity for that day - but then he goes through 6 weeks of negative gravity before again reaching the 7 week period of zero gravity. This may mean the "inactive roster" was reached on 1/31, but then 6 more weeks of decline before again reaching the "inactive roster" level? I guess it could happen this way.

Or it could mean someone held him for a few days and then sold. Thanks!

His price pattern is unusual, to say the least. It's hard to concoct a wholly rational explanation - but with 5000+ teams, I guess it's not a given that all are behaving rationally.

His history is verrrrrry interesting.
The only explanation that i can come up with is that he has gotten a few buys from managers creating midseason teams during the past week.

If there were another player or two to look at with similar price history, maybe we could make an educated guess. I looked at a couple dozen of players that i thought might be on the cusp, but the only player that I found that comes close to having a history like his is Derek Fisher, and it's too early to tell what's going on with his price.
If anyone finds another, please post it -- I'd be interested in researching this further!

It's TSN doing some tinkering IMHO.

Also I beleive new teams are created all of the time and people that have not been following htis to much and get dragged to smallworld to participate in this Fantasy world of ours..not realizing that players they have initially chosen are not playing? and then of course the team becomes abandon?

Do the "free game" price changes alter the ultimate game pricing? I didn't think this was the case. Personally, it doesn't make sense that too many people would pay the anti this late in the year and then leave the table before the cards are played.
