I'd be interesting in putting together a qualifying league, with the winner(s) to be considered for Guru's league next season. We'll use the categories he suggested.
If you're interested, indicate with Email address. Draft will be a slow one on the Standings board and that could start whenever 12 of us commit. Downside to early draft is, of course, potential injuries.
Does anyone know when Yahoo will begin this season? |

It looks like we have 13 names in this thread. I'd say I'd like it to be 12 teams for this particular league (or more pointedly, I only want to join a 12 team league).
What's to be done? Perhaps we take the 1st 12 and then let the next 12 form a 2nd league? Or we can say forget Ender, let him start a new league :P

if anybody's still got room, I'd like in one of these leagues. It's definitely been a while since I've been around here, but I did have an almost top 100 finish a few years ago in TSN, and as a hoops junkie this is always a great crowd for a fantasy league.

Eugene, you just weren't invited yet, that's all. If you had provided an email address you probably would have been. If you understand that and lighten up about the whole situation you are more likely to get invited. If you pout about it, you are less likely.

Just an update on scoring system. As a "qualifying" league, my only requirement is that it use roto scoring, 8 categories, not HTH. If you want to do something different with roster sizes, position requirements, bench and IR slots, etc., that's fine with me.
We've made some minor changes to the roster size in the Invitational League. We now have 12 actives, 3 bench, and only one IR slot. Position requirements are 4 G, 4 F, 2 C, and 2 Util. Games limits are 82 per position (i.e., 4x82 for guards, 2x82 for centers, etc.)
