While there isn't much to be done prior to the bracket announcements, you can register, review the rules, try out the simulator (using last year's brackets), and generally acclimate yourself (or re-acclimate) yourself to the game.

I've never done all that well at this game but love the concept and think the NCAA tournament is the greatest...in fact I own a small business that I close every year for the first two days of the tournament.

I put in for a personal day back in August for Friday's action.
I think this is year four or five me, and I haven't done awesome either, but too I love the concept.
