According to Guru:
GuruPatron donations are running very low this year, and it's not yet clear that donations this year wil be sufficient to cover costs.
He pays for, and maintains, a site where we all come to complain, heckle, mock, slam, argue, and (at times) agree.

Yeah, since I got rid of Paypal (or they got rid of me--it was pretty mutual) the stuff that was easy to use Paypal for like sending money to Guru just wasn't getting done. Some time ago I'd noticed that the running total at the top of the front page of the forum wasn't very high, but didn't do anything about it. I finally sucked it up and mailed him a check the other day.
About damn time.

As soon as I get home from Las Vegas I will git er done.
I know what you're thinking. I'll be so broke after 4 days in Las Vegas, it won't be possible. Actually, I haven't gambled one dime since arriving Monday afternoon(except for some very low waging playing golf today with my old buddy Jimmy Limo - all of 8 bucks changed hands - my way. So, I'm way ahead, and I probably lost 5 pounds playing in
the 105 degree heat. Yesterday afternoon I played nine holes with my 83 year old aunt, also in 105 degree heat.
