Walter Cronkite, dead at 92
I remember 'flashes' of watching him as a youngster. He and Huntley & Brinkley. |

You forgot to take into account the timing. I'd have laid my life savings (INCLUDING ALL COUCH CHANGE!) on the under.
I mean, this bum clearly had nothing on Tony Snow.

Walter Cronkite proves that in order to be considered "The Most Trusted Man" in the country, you have to be a liberal. For all the reasons pointed out in Baldy's hack piece, I loved the man. He was great.
I mean, you really think anyone will create an hour special on the life of Brit Hume when he goes on to the read the great teleprompter in the sky?

Perhaps there's room next to your Lenin statue.

I'd prefer a Lenin statue in my home, to an AC shrine.

No one ever suggested you had differences of opinion with Lenin.
