Wow, for a piece so devoid of real content, you might have not bothered to start a new thread. That is a garbage post of a garbage article. If this is 10% of the best you've got, then just stop spreading slander.
For those who haven't yet read the link, paraphrased "Highlights" include:
"OMG, the Democrats want them to monitor Harris County voting after all their voting machines burned in a fire, so they'll probably be using crappy paper ballots that might have problems") and
"OMG, some guy five years ago said they were going to try to take a Dem majority in the Texas legislature, so you just KNOW they're going to commit fraud to try to do it now because Obama is teh suXXor")
So, to summarize, because Boldwin believes these things, he is clearly against any monitoring of polling places, and he is clearly in favor of taking five year old remarks completely out of context and twisting them to meet a stupid political point. None of this surprises me.

In November 2009, political appointee Julie Fernandes told the entire assembled DOJ Voting Section that the Obama administration would not enforce the list maintenance provisions of Section 8. Section 8 �doesn�t have anything to do with increasing minority turnout,� Fernandes said. �We don�t have any interest in enforcing that part of the law.�
At the same time, Fernandes stressed that the DOJ would vigorously enforce the welfare agency registration provisions of Section 7.
She made these lawless instructions in front of me and dozens of other shocked Voting Section lawyers. The DOJ has never once denied that Fernandes gave these instructions, nor has the DOJ countermanded them. - Pajamas Media Delete or I will if this violates new policy. Certainly Obama's legal thug won't get Pajamas Media as a client, but we are going to cease all blockquoting?

Thanks again for your efforts in detailing all these striking examples of things that aren't really voter fraud at all in a thread entitled "voted fraud 2010".
May we presume you'll be posting about all examples of alleged voter fraud, or only the ones that don't benefit your side (if, of course, you were to have a side, which of course you don't, as far as God knows, wink wink nod nod)???
It's a serious question. Just curious if you actually care about the country or if you just care about throwing out ridiculous smears.

i like the part of the article that says the fact that Texas stands as the nation’s largest solidly Republican state.
Texas is sooooo solidly Republican that Republicans in the Texas House hold an overwhelming 77-73 majority. In the Senate, it's 19-12.
Of Texas' five most populous cities, four of the mayors are Democrats. Dallas actually holds non-partisan races, so their mayor doesn't have a political affiliation. He's probably a Republican based on his voting history, but he also reached out to Dallas' historically democratic south side, and garnered tremendous support.
Granted, the representation in the US Senate is Republican-heavy, but the fact remains that this state is fairly balanced. in my neighborhood, i certainly see more Bill White signs than Rick Perry signs, and that's a good thing.
the whole article, and your entire thesis, is typical of the dishonest, fear-based political message you try to spread

Combine really poor referencing by Boldwin with a general willingness to respond to perceived silly statements with additional silliness, and stuff happens.
FWIW, I think it was completely relevant, boikin. I think there are always ways around the problem in Germany (but giving the voter a printed receipt on all electronic machines is a generally good idea regardless).
