Take this quiz, you won't score higher than me, I got a perfect 15!
Religion Test
But that should not be too surprising -
Atheists and agnostics, Jews and Mormons are among the highest-scoring groups on a new survey of religious knowledge, outperforming evangelical Protestants, mainline Protestants and Catholics on questions about the core teachings, history and leading figures of major world religions. Executive Summary - Take test first, then read this. |

I suck, only 13. Somehow brain-farted the Jewish Sabbath one (yeah, I know, Friday evening, that's like pretty close to Saturday), and missed the 50/50 on the last one. That's still pretty decent, apparently.

That is decent and I will admit that I guessed on the First Reawakening question, myself.
If you read the summary, there are more than 15 questions, there must be some random inclusions/exclusions of questions.

I missed two. And I knew I missed them when I answered them because I had to guess- the one about Pakistan and the one about The Great Awakening. I pared each down to two choices and guessed wrong on both. I should've known about Pakistan from "Slumdog Millionaire" but, like I said, I guessed wrong.
The other one I don't feel as bad about because on 11% got it right.

I read the summary and phone questionaire. The other questions were about religious affiliation, race, church-going habits, etc; no "right answer" questions.

I need to read up on the First Great Awakening apparently. Other than that, 14 of 15.

I am not sure what this quiz was suppose to prove, I am sure if you measured the IQ of the those who did well on the quiz you would get a higher correlation then what religion they came from. I mean outside of maybe the great awaking question I knew all the answers from watching movies and tv.

14. Great Awakening got me too. Agree with Boikin, kind of silly.

If they made the test any harder, the average American would have really been embarrassed. The results are pretty telling.

Latest evangelical athiest:

Austrian Pastafarian and he really wants you to know it.
That would be the pasta strainer on his head on his Austrian driver's license.

Are you good at religion?
Wasn't sure where to put this, but thought I would share.
