Ok I'm putting this up just cause I am a little ticked. For the awards in Conf 10, The Player of the year award was given to Jamison Carson a Se from Myrtle Beach. Here is his line.
6'3"
19.5 Pts 1.9 Brds 2.7 Ast .7 Stl 1.0 TO .2Blks

The freshman of the year is my Ollie Lyvers, here is his line.
6'7"
20.4 Pts 5.9 Brds .7 Ast .2 Stl .8 TO .9BLk

Just looking at that line there I think Ollie also deserved the player of the year, now factor in FG percentage.

Carson 53.5%
Lyvers 58.6%

And it becomes more clear that Lyvers just had a dominating season, on a horrible team that is too... I dunno I think he deserved it more.

I agree. I think my SF in Conference 8 was better than the guy who won the POY. The reason both our guys lost is because p6k tweaked the logic for the all-conf. teams, giving more weight to assists (far too much, in my opinion). Look around the league, scoring PG's took away the hardware all over (I think).

Agreed. Way too much emphasis on assists.

On a contrary note, one of my young ones took home FOY honors in my conference (6), and while I do think assists are given too much emphasis after looking around (especially at the all-league teams), my guy won FOY (and was also on all-conference 2nd team) averaging only 0.5 apg.

Carlos Lawhorn, a product of Baton Rouge took home the the League ROY award. If we could land some croots watch out!
