2002 Gurupie Horse of The Year Kangaroo Minstrel is retiring to head to the breeding shed. The 7-year-old, one of the original 5 horses from the toral2 barn, notched two lifetime stake wins and amassed $161,824 in lifetime earnings.

Scheduled to appear in the toral2 barn tomorrow is Kangaroo Ransom, progeny of a mating with sire Red Ransom.

      Sat, Feb 15, 2003, 15:44 		Truly a sad day for the gurupies. Hopefully Kangaroo Ransom will inherit some of KM's ability and pick up where Kangaroo Minstrel left off.

My 2yo Scenic Giant won the Filly GSR sponsored race this week running at 75SP at RTG. Hopefully this is a sign of better things to come for her.

Hanging Rock just lost out on 3rd place in his stakes race and ran a 109.

Sixth Deputy only ran a 107SP after his great 118 LTO. He was in GradeIII company though and came in 7th.

Entered a bunch in claimers that I hope to never see again. I think I'll breed another 2yo tonight and hope for a colt this time. So far I've gotten 4 fillies in four breedings.
