Don't know how many of you are ESPN magazine subscribers, but I noticed something that caught my eye after the Argentina game this morning.
The most recent cover for the World Cup listed 4 teams that were listed as being reasons the U.S. wouldn't win: Argentina, France, Italy, and Portugal. With Argentina and France already on the way home, and Italy and Portugal in trouble, could we be seeing a variation of the dreaded SI cover jinx? I may need to put some money down on Mexico and South Korea... |
