Whoa, what a great show by the Citizens at the home opener! The combination of Foe--Benarbia--Berkovic--Wright-Phillips sure is one of the most exciting and talented midfields in the league right now. Toons had absolutely no weapons to stop them today, and the score could of been much worse if Anelka and Huckerby capitalized from the opportunities with better accuracy.
Oh, and Leeds' Jonathan Woodgate is likely to miss today's game too as his stitched wound opened during a practice on thursday (ouch!). Should be ok for wednesday's game against Sunderland. |
