Subject: RIBC - Projected Standings

Let's use this thread to post projected standings for the RIBC. Anyone who has prepared a set is welcome to share them.

I have three sets which will follow. They are based on projected stats from RotoWire, RotoWorld, and RotoTimes. The projections are all as of the beginning of the draft, and do not reflect any updates during the draft. I realize that this is a significant limitation in a few instances. So be it.

To do this, I pared each roster down to 12 active hitters. In general, I took the 12 best players which could fulfill the roster position requirements.

For pitching, we have a 1350 IP limit. Again, I took as many pitchers as needed to slightly exceed this limit. Then, I proportioned down the win, save, and strikeout totals to equate to 1350 IP. Again, I realize this is not the most realistic way to model your pitching performance, but again, it is simple.

With that said, the three sets of standings follow. For each set, the top grid shows the ranking points for each category, as well as the total. Teams are sorted by total ranking points. The bottom grid shows the stats for each team, sorted in team draft order.

If anyone want to fiddle with the numbers, I have an excel spreadsheet with the three sets of stats and standings: RIBC-standproj.xls.
