Nice to see some friendly names in. Ender, love the team name. I feel the need to trade already......

Mike,
Sorry I didn't respond to your trade offer.
I've been buried at work.
Saw the email, but not the offer in Yahoo.
Send again and I'll check in the morning.

Mike D, if given the choice which title would you rather have:

1. Manager to make most trades
or
2. Manager to win the division

That's a no brainer. And I'm still rattled by one Mr. Fluid winning the TM category in Hoops! Always next year......

Things are constantly changing in the sportsworld. Sometimes we get forced to make roster moves because of it. Other times it is just fun to put our psychic abilities to the test and make deals based on what we expect.

In all cases, the back and forth interaction and thought processes are more a way to "play" the game than simply sitting back and doing nothing. There is always a way to improve your team. Always a deal that can be made.

Thanks for your time, and glad you made it home safely. ;)

Mike D does a little trash talking and now trades are flying left and right.

Wiggs, if you want some pitching send me an offer.

Mike D, I got your offer. I am likely to turn it down since Durham has been useless over the past month at the plate but give me a bit to see if i can come up with a counter.

Well, I need somebody who's BA is better than Uribe. Durham is hitting .220 over the past month. Yes, that's better than Uribe's .145 but that doesn't exactly help me.

Anybody need ? He's back from the DL and needs a fresh start on somebody's squad.

True, but he's 22 out of 100. Only 8 more hits and he'd be at .300, and you'd be drooling (more than usual, anyway, lol). Plus he has scored 22 runs in that time frame along with 6 homers, 17 rbis, and 2 steals........gotta look at the total package, the big picture, and the trades made category, not necessarily in that order.

hahaha

Is it sad that I still want to make the trade so I can have another one under my belt? Trading with you doesn't help though. If I want the title we have to keep you from trading and make trades amongst ourselves.

got your offer wiggs. Mulling it over. My concern is 3 fold:

1. I have been hearing that Sheff is still in pain and is trying to put off season ending surgery on his shoulder.
2. Will Washburn come back to earth?
3. Will Vazquez pitch like the old Vazquez or will he continue to look like Derek Lowe (who has killed my staff all season)?

Give me a little bit to mull some more.

Another thing that has me on my heels is that my team has been climbing the standings and I have made just one trade, which so far hasn't done much for me. Chipper had been hot and now is back to hitting like crap.

Btw, left a message in the vestal league.

Farn, had to pull my dusty (Rhodes?) offer because of the overlap with the deal made with goatlocker. Nice to see Dave R and wiggs get into the Trade Game. Only 3 GMs with no trades, though I can't see that lasting very long......gotta love active leagues. Kudos to all.

PS Percival should be dealt today according to E(rfS)PN. All interested teams should get their offer in ASAP. ;)
