21.07 Hoyer, Brian SFO QB hard to not have QB backup. Brees has shown to be quite durable in his career but his bye is week 5 and i'd rather not be stuck with a worse option

21.10 Conner, James PIT RB These next two picks are happening on what seems to be “cut-day” in the NFL. Unfortunately, I’m out and about running errands and have a hard time staying up to date on all the movements / impact. All I know is, that most of my team is filled with starters, so may as well aim a few darts at some high potential players. Conner seems to be in-line for the #2 duties for the Steelers, where we’ve seen the backups prove to be VERY valuable in previous years. |

21.11 Wilson, Tavon DET S Not much to get excited about here. Wanted another DB and, he starts and his bye week fits. He;ll be waiver wire fodder if he's not productive the first few weeks. I'm always looking for the surprise break out defensive players and need to have someone to let go.

21.12 Perriman, Breshad BAL WR With new format needed another WR and pretty picked over. Perryman has not lived up to expectations and maybe this is the year will be different. It appears if healthy he would be first on depth chart with a couple of prior starters gone so might have some upside for this late draft position. |

22.03 Sturgis, Caleb PHI PK PK seemed to flying off board earlier than I remember. I wanted a dependable kicker and he did well last year. However, he has missed a few this preseason which may not be good omen. I also liked Samtos here but hoping Philly scored more than KC. |

22.04 Wright, Kendall CHI WR I wanted to add a 5th WR and went looking for a lottery ticket. Someone has to catch the ball in Chicago, Kevin White is the only other viable option for WR1 and he can't stay on the field. Reports from Bears camp indicate Wright has looked good and developed a rapport with Glennon. And the Bears will be behind and throwing. A ton.

22.05 Kamara, Alvin NOS RB Mainly...see 21.10. I’ll add a little extra though. New Orleans system w/Brees at QB is built to make the pass-catching RB very valuable. Ingram is currently set as the primary at early downs, goal line and pass-catching. With him and Peterson ahead of Kamara on the depth chart, I may not be able to use him till the 2nd half of the year. At this point, I’m fine with that, as he’s my 4th backup at RB. |

22.06 Santos, Cairo KCC PK 88.6% FG accuracy last year, and a late bye (10), so I shouldn't have to fiddle with my kicker during my problematic bye weeks (5 & 9). Preseason groin issue seems to have subsided, as he kicked a 48-yard FG in the final preseason game. |

22.09 Richard, Jalen OAK RB Now I've locked up both of Marshawn's backups. Richard is explosive and can make defenders miss, as evidenced by last year's 5.9 YPC on over 80 carries.DeAndre Washington is currently slated to get more playing time and would probably be the primary back if Marshawn Lynch gets hurt, but Richard would also be likely to become a reliable starter, with punt return yards in addition to what would probably be 10-15 carries per game. Depending on how many touches he gets on offense, those punt return yards might also make him a better emergency fill-in option than Washington. |

22.10 Golladay, Kenny DET WR When I picked Rupp in round 19, Golladay was the other receiver I was considering. The Lions don't have a ton of WR depth, so hoping he gets a fair amount of action early on and can develop quickly with Stafford. He's a big guy too, so even if Golden Tate takes most of the targets, Golladay could be a nice red zone option. As my 6th receiver, I have time to stash him away for the first few weeks and gauge whether he might be a valuable piece later in the season.

22.13 Murray, Latavius MIN RB Murray is coming off of a couple of 1000 total yard seasons. Plus he had 12 rushing TD's last year. Sounds like a perfect backup candidate - should get plenty of touches and TD opportunities - can't beat that in a 22nd round selection. |

23.02 Meredith, Cameron CHI WR This was user error. Instead of picking on my laptop or phone, I tried with my iPad, and had typed a name in to the search field, hit go, and I must've had Meredith's name highlighted, as he ended up on my roster instead of executing the search. Oh, well, will teach me to try to draft while half asleep. Upon looking up Meredith, saw he put up some good numbers last year, but was just placed on season-ending IR. |

23.05 Addison, Mario CAR DE When I selected Short as my DL2, Addison was someone I had also considered. He had 9.5 sacks last season, but in only 14 games, playing in a relatively low number of snaps. The Panthers have traded away most of his competition, so if he can keep up his sack rate, in a higher number of snaps, I think there's a real chance at 12+ sacks. I even read an article that said he's a "dark horse" candidate to lead the NFC in sacks this season. With a lack of interesting options on the board, I figured I could stash away a 3rd DL to see how he looks in the first few games.

23.10 Hopkins, Dustin WAS PK He’s a kicker… check. Moving on… about the only other I thought I put into this besides consulting a cheatsheet, was the fact that I drafted him in the RGK… thus, if something goes wrong with him, I’ll know to adjust both leagues. The less thought I put into kickers the better. |

23.11 Beasley, Vic ATL LB One last slot to fill before I take my kicker in the last round. Need another LB and the pickings are slim to say the least. Most of my IDP selections are based on expected consistent production. Here I decided to go with a boom or bust pass rush specialist. His tackle totals will be low because he's not on the field on early downs. However he'll have an opportunity to make big plays on passing downs. And guess what? With the Falcons high powered offense forcing the issue, opponents will be forced into frequent passing situations in catch-up mode. At the very least there will rarely be times when teams will be running down the clock to protect a lead. Also, he's just in his 3rd year and it's reasonable to expect improvement until he hits his prime. I'm excited about the potential here given where I'm getting him in the draft.

24.05 Goff, Jared LAR QB Just needed an extra body to cover the ever important QB bye week, and all depending on schedule holes, may the occasional start here and there. 24.06 Siemian, Trevor DEN QB I don’t necessarily intend to carry 3 QB all season, but Siemien provides a little disaster protection if one of my QBs gets hurt out of the gate. By the time the week #5 bye week arrives, I'll probably have to pare back to two - and I may not wait that long. And who knows - with Paxton Lynch's latest injury, maybe Siemien will turn out to be my QB2. |

24.09 Perryman, Denzel LAC LB Perryman averaged almost 9 points per game in 2015 after taking over the MLB role. Last year he averaged 8 points over 11 full games. He probably would have been one of the first 10 LBs drafted, but he tore an ankle ligament and will miss about half the season. However, Perryman is likely to be put on the Injured Reserve: Designated for Return list, and we have an IR slot that I'd like to finally take advantage of! |

24.10 Darkwa, Orleans NYG RB I was at a wedding during this last selection, and didn't have the chance to do much research, but when Darkwa's name showed up on my list I decided to take him. Paul Perkins is by no means a proven commodity as the Giants RB1, and with Shane Vereen more of a 3rd down/pass catching option, Darkwa is likely in line for RB1 status if Perkins gets hurt or flames out.

24.13 Jackson, Edwin IND LB Several rounds back in researching potential LB's, I saw that the Colts depth chart wasn't perfectly clear. And someone is going to have to get their tackles. Things don't look real good for the Colts this year, so I wouldn't be surprised to see them regularly having to defend against the run. So, if Jackson, is indeed one of the starting ILB, that should provide him a lot of tackle opportunities. |

24.14 McManus, Brandon DEN PK Brandon has been a solid kicker for several years. Kicking in Denver 8 games/yr doesn't hurt his chances to score either. He will make a solid 2nd kicker. |
