AP10 is there a way that our waiver requests can not be posted. I just don't think that everyone should be able to see who you are trying to pick up. Maybe I did something wrong with the way I claimed people off of waivers.
Thanks for your help the site looks great.

One other thing, how do we take a player off of our waiver list? I would like to take one off and add another.
gary is now replacing the injured stewart in detroit, traded for an undisclosed draft pick.
anyway, guys, what's wrong with mike? we're 48 hours away from the start of the season and someone still has to complete his team? am i missing something?
ap 10 my problem is that to send you 10 bucks i've to pay a fixed fee of another 10 bucks. is it the same if i send you euros? if it's not the same i'll work to find another way but it should take time.....i assure you that i'm in for the prizes, it's just a fact of finding the way to send the money. anyway, what if mike doesn't show up?
wiggs, the waiver deadline has passed since we need 36 hours for processing. Games start at 9pm tonight therefore the waiver deadline ended Wednesday morning at 9am. You will need to wait until the waiver period starts again which will be Monday night at 11:59:59pm.
Attention: I will NOT accept transactions via email or this site, please submit your transactions via the league website. If you are having a problem and/or need to clarify feel free to email me. Also, if you want to put in 5 claims to make sure you get one, please enter them in the site according to their priority. First entered = #1 priority. Last entered = lowest priority.
Thank you...

derek, i know i cant get him for this week, but i just thought i would throw it out there so i would hopefully get him next week.
I am unable to access email or use the site (dunno why, I keep getting errors... I think the computer I have access to has a virus that prevents javascript or forms or something like that). So, this is my only option for waiver claims until Sept. 16th. I hope you will allow this exemption and please process the claims I posted back on Tuesday (post #5). Thank you.

Derek, could you explain what you mean by Second Place Tourn and Third Prize Tourn?

I think its the different playoff parts at the end of the season, like toilet bowl, etc. Correct me if im wrong, im just making a guess.
dgrooves, at the end of the season there are three different bowls. Now that I think about it more, I think I should revise that since the regular season winner will either finish 1st or 2nd in tourney/bowls. So maybe there shouldnt be a regular season prize since they will already claim some money.
How about this...
1st overall (winner of 1st & 2nd reg. season)=$24 2nd overall (loser to 1st & 2nd reg. season)=$12 3rd overall (winner of 3rd & 4th reg. season)=$12 4th overall (loser of 3rd & 4th reg. season)=$6 5th overall (winner of 5th & 6th reg. season)=$6
My thinking behind as many teams as possible involved in the money (atleast getting their $$ back) Obviously this cuts into the top prize, but since our money pool isnt that large, you cant expect much. While the 2nd ovr & 3rd ovr get the same cash is that the 2nd ovr could actually win $24, while 3rd's max is $12. The same logic applies to the payouts for #4 & #5...
(This money does not include beebop or LAZIO). If I receive their money sometime soon (week 3 latest) I will add their money to the overall winner & runner up. Maybe a $8/$4 distribution...

I think we need to atleast set Mike's lineup, no free wins this year. I say we just let AP10 set the lineup sunday morning if Mike is still not around.

Derek, I must have a mental block or something because I still dont understand what youre proposing. You said you want the prize money to be determined by the playoff results, but it seems like the regular season has something to do with the payouts: "(winner of 1st & 2nd reg. season)". I also dont understand how the 2nd overall could get $24.
Maybe we should just say the league champion (winner of the playoffs) gets $xx. The runner-up (the team who lost in the championship game) gets $xx. Winner of the 3rd place game gets $xx. Loser of the 3rd place game gets $xx. Winner of the ".500 bowl" gets $xx. etc.
Sucks being out of touch, but I just got online for a few minutes and I noticed a potential problem with this past weeks waiver claims. It appears that Rolling Thunder processed a claim on RB O Gary, but this would have been an illegal/invalid claim as he now has 5 RBs (only 4 are allowed), thus Gary should have gone to the team with the next highest priority instead. Unless I am misunderstanding something from the website, or if his initial waiver claim on Gary included an RB drop but that drop didn't get processed, etc.

thanks for pointing that out doug. I really appriciate it.
Doug, another member already pointed this out also. Unfortunately the software did not catch it therefore I need to reverse his claim & give Gary to the next team in line which would've been Italian Eagles. I would have added Gary to LAZIO's team prior to gametime but I need to know which player would be dropped...
First waive the player you would want to release if your pickup went through. Second, add the player you would like to claim. If your claim goes through, the player you waived will be dropped. If your claim does not go through, your "waived" player will remain on your roster.

Derek, I waived the wrong ST on my team, but I cant figure out how to undo the move. If my claim goes through, can you not waive ST-Ari? Thanks.
All submitted transactions will be posted around 6pm EST tonight. (I have class all day!) I will also get the scores adjusted and the final scores will be posted in this forum. (I dont think I have the ability to adjust the boxscores like I did last year, however I can adjust the standings W/L & Pts, so final boxscores will be posted in this thread while the standings should be correct...
All waiver claims have been posted under League News...
Final Week 1 Results will be posted tonight...

Quick question, is 31 the max number of player we can have on our team without any on the IR?

OL seems to be out of whack on both teams in my game. I should have 13 and Art should have 8. It looks like we are getting 8 points for yards regardless. Please fix this, thanks.

Okay, I looked at everyone's OL and did the scoring for each:
Klingon - see below Long Beach - 3 Art - 8 Nerf - 13 beebop - 4 Cowboys - 9 Eagles - 17 Sanwhich - 9 Ike - see below Birds - 17 Thunder - 8 Puppets - 9
Ike and Doug seem to have the same OL starting (SF - 19points). Ummm. I'm pretty sure that's WRONG.
Looking at the draft, I can see that Doug drafted SF OL, but Ike did not. I also see that beebop drafted Buffalo OL, before drafting Bears or Cowboys OL. Hmm.. better double check the end of the draft.

Did some more checking. LOL. Okay Doug picked SF OL at 18.11. Ike picked them at 20.1, then repicked 20.1 as Raiders OL. BUT, he was given SF OL. Theres som very weird stuff at the end of the draft.
Nerf, your OL scores include passing TD's. Last year, didnt we clarify OL scoring was only for rushing TD's. I'm pretty sure we did but somehow it didnt get clarified further in the rules...
Luckily, no W/L results were affected by the changes. I will try to email tech support and hopefully they can get this stuff fixed, but I have a bad feeling I might have to manually fix the stuff by hand on a weekly basis. On the league website, the boxscores FINAL scores are now correct, however the individual scoring is incorrect. Also, the standings have been updated and are correct.
You have until midnight EST on Thursday to file any scoring discrepencies. All scores will become final at that time. Pleaes double check your scores. I'm 99% sure that QB/RB/WR/TE/DL/LB/DB/PK are correct. I manually changed the only positions which were incorrect, OL & ST.
I will once again state how scores for OL & ST are scored.
OL - Point are determined by rushing yards (in the rules section). Also, only rushing TD's count as 1 pt and sacks count as -1 pt.
Stats are sketchy, but from what I can tell there where 4 blocked kicks last week. Bears and Jaguars blocked a punt, Carolina blocked a field goal, and Atlanta blocked an extra point. I assume a 'blocked kick' takes all three kinds of kicks into account.
On NFL.com, I can only find Blocked Field Goals & Blocked Punts, therefore if you want credit for a blocked XP you will need to let me know your team blocked an XP...unless if someone can provide me links...
Nerf, that was my point exactly. I'm not going to go through boxscores to determine blocked XP's, that would take me way to long, therefore someone will either need to provide me with a link or let me know when their team blocked an XP.

dgrooves - I just noticed that you got blocked from posting. Unfortunately, you got snagged in a block that was set up for someone else (who evidently works - or at least worked - where you do!)
You should be able to post now. Sorry for the frustration.

Regarding post 57 (which TDs to count for OL scoring), we did discuss the issue last season. However, as the rules dont not say only rushing TDs, we decided to include rushing and passing TDs. That discussion can be found in posts 122 - 127 and 129 here. This issue was never raised during the offseason, so I dont see why we are scoring OL differently than we did last season.
Dont worry about it Guru. It was the first time I tried to post from work so I figured it was just a firewall issue.
Sorry to have to do this again, last time, promise

With an apology in advance to wiggs :), Ive got something to complain about.
From the league rules: "Additionally, if a player on your roster misses an entire game, he may be placed on injured reserve (with a maximum of two players on IR per team)."
Robert Ferguson is on IR right now. He has yet to miss a game and will likely start this week. One team was allowed to draft 6 DBs, even though the position limit is 5, because one of those players was injured. The rules, however, dont allow this; they only allow a player to be placed on IR after Week 1.
You may be saying who cares if a player is on IR too early? Well, mike was able to pick up Javon Walker, now his 6th WR, off of waivers becuase hes got Ferguson on IR. The other team (may have) prevented some of us from drafting a DB we wanted.
