No moves were made for this waiver period as I'm hoping we can repeat our 1st place finish again.
There should be plenty of roster turnover on our individual teams as many long term players have schedules that are coming to an end and others that have dense schedules.

the people that I've talk to that have him are selling, but that is a small sample

I guess it really depends if he has a good game tonights, so it's anybody's guess

I don't know that Yi's price hit will be so bad. He was being bought around Christmas time, when general trade activity was probably light. And today is a trade refresh day. He'll take a hit, for sure, but it's hard to say how big.

With Yi, I'd be more worried about the points.

Hill to Kamen?? WOW I've heard a lot of talk about that... He is at the start of 3 games in 9 days; isn't that the reason we sell players?... Guess since I'm bringing up the rear I should probably following instead of questioning.. But I just don't see the logic in that one.. I'm sure the money will be there but this game is about points? Right?

...the only logic I do see in Hill to Kamen is no other option in that price range jumps out at me.. Golden State Schedule dries up on 1/16 and I was thinking SJax and Baron to Kamen and someone else then... I'm leaning toward Hill to Calderon but definitely open to suggestions?

77, Who will outpoint Kaman over those 9 days that doesn't cost significantly more? Only Calderon jumps out at me.

nm, decided to go Calderon

if I went Kaman, I'd be stuck with no serious out from Bynum

I really had no problem with getting Kaman this early. For his price, 140 tsnp in 9 days is not bad. It's like having a 6.3M center averaging 28/g for a 5 in 9.
As I said, not bad. But I would really be stuck with Bynum, so Calderon hopefully solves this problem.

KI:
When I made the trade to Hill I was going to undo it and get JR but it was past the deadline to undo a trade.
Hill sucked while I had him and had to be traded anyways and I didnt have the cash to get JR and took SJax instead.
As you can see the snowball just keeps getting bigger.

Now I have Nash/Jian/Dalem and only 2 trades.
My head hurts from thinking about it so if anyone would like to offer an opinion....please, be my guest.

WK,

Yi to Carter on Sunday looks good. If you really need the RV you can make it today and lose a game, but I would do it sunday.

Now for the two Canadians...

Between Nash and Dalem, I think it depends on how Nash is feeling. But I would say hold Dalembert, take the RV hit and move him to Bynum on the 20th. You'll need an in for Bynum anyways, so this solves one problem.

If Nash is a no go before the game, there are no real good options, so your guess is as good as mine.

One option I was considering was Nash to AI.
If that is the case I might as well hold and do it tomorrow.

I think I'll just hold Nash, regardless - unless there is word that this will be more than a one game issue. Even if he doesn't play tonight, he should be ready by Saturday, and I wasn't originally planning to move him.

Carter may end up being my eventual out from Udrih. Sounds like Bibby may be back as early as Jan 16 (next Wed) and Martin may return as early as Jan 14 (Monday), putting a probable damper on the PT for both Udrih and Salmons.

2 trades lingering for YI + Dalembart

Yi has a b2b but sucks so much i really wanna drop him tonight for either carter or moon

would today be the consensus day to sell dalembart

i would like to hold him for his next game and then > Kaman but i don;t wanna take over a 100k of RV hit

Pulled the trigger Salmons to Parker.. What I'm reading sounds like he is probably going to play but I cann't wait till gametime to see if he plays cause by then Parker is froze.. I think Parker is an upgrade since it sounds like Bibby and Martin are back for Sac next week... I've got to turn a corner sometime?? Don't I??

Anyone else thinking 2/5 Dwight Howard to Lebron James... I know Howard is going to bleed some next week... but his 11 in 23 is still enough to project him out to a top 5 performer over that stretch.
I would hold Nash if I had him. He just has the flu so probably (with antibiotics) plays a limited game on Saturday and is back a healthy stregnth next Tuesday when his schedule gets good. A little rest on his "tired joints" could be a plus for next week!
And Wekool, i'd hold Dalembert as well! I'm holding AI2 thru the 3 in eight because on the other side of that is a 6 in 9!!!!!

I have several Beno's on other teams and just cant seem to pull the trigger.
There will be an RV hit that is for certain.
The question is how much and what is your tolerance to absorb those losses.
When you look at the real stock market there is a well know phrase that goes "buy the rumor, sell the news".
In this case it will be sell on the rumor but my guess is Beno will not see a significant decrease in production.
Points wise my guess is Beno out produces Daniels.

I'm thinking I will go Dalembert to Kaman tomorrow and Jian to Smith (CHI) on Sunday.
My window into kaman is 150K.....what are my chances?
KI....still waiting on that JB

I'd like to say good chances for that window. It's a busier trading day, Kaman isn't playing, Dalembert is. Kaman will have to gain 100 and Dalembert lose 50K. I really don't see it happening. But I've been surprised before.

Another factor I've never been able to prove is. Dalembert plays at 7 pm. Theoretically, the less time people have to trade, the better.

Weykool you should have listened when I hated on Yi a week ago ! lol i finally got rid of him for calderon which was a bad trade move but hopefully will give me the money

was on edge last night for my team as if i traded marion i wouldnt be able to get Kaman until next week ... i was going to go Marion>Butler

but since he is playing i will jus go Kobe> Kaman and Haywood > 8 - 9 mill player

while I share DJ's skepticism regarding his inconsistency, I think Carter is the real deal, three 50 tsnp games in last 5 cannot be ignored.

who here thinks Udrih->Carter on sunday is a good move?

Sold Sammy for Kaman today.
Have 1 trade.
Thinking of:

A. Iggy to JRich....suck up the remaining Jian losses.

B. Jian to somone tomorrow......take a big iggy hit.

Yehosh dont have an opinion on Carter just yet.
I might be looking at him from Jian if I choose B.

I would think that decision by Weykool has already been made...and if I were you I would avoid Nazr...since Kaman and Bynum should occupy both C spots until the all-star break (except for next week when bynum goes away for a bit)

change of plans. I figure kaman will gain 500K+ before friday and Nazr only gains 1 game on him. I don't see Nazr outscoring him by more then 20-25. I also don't have an in for Kaman on friday if I take Nazr.

I'm sticking with my plan of Bynum->Kaman, hopefully Kaman will have a big game on tueday.

Re: 118

I'm personally going Dwight => Kaman on the teams that don't have him. I can't justify buying into a 1 in 4 when there are other attractive options available. My other teams got Kaman on 1/12 from Dalembert, which was a 2 in 6 at the time. The difference was that there was absolutely nobody else (I felt) worth buying on that date. But that's just me.

you guys think Odom is going to be a good pickup in a week or so?

I guess unless he starts producing over 36/g, he is the same deal as Jamison, or worse, so for now I'm sticking with my plan to get Jamison from Calderon

i think Kaman might play tonight the article doesnt seem like it is a sure thing and no other sites have him up as questionable

being that his game is last though i think i'll jus hold off on getting him til his next game so i can jus get Nash instead of Carmelo and not have to trade Haywood out of his game tonight

This is about all I can find on Kaman:
From Orange County Register...Kaman apparently sprained his ankle in the latter stages of the Dallas game, although no injury report was issued during or after the game. Dunleavy said there is no pronounced swelling in Kaman's ankle, which likely should allow him to play tonight.

Warning the same article also said he was sitting out practice.
