Dave R Gescom Florian Usual Suspects reebbertxx Headless T Gunners Ender DeeJay
I want to welcome everyone.
Here's hope for a great season with this group. Still need E-mails from Florian, Headless T Gunners, Usual Suspects and Ender. Dave has agreed to run our Standings, which I want to thank him for.
My own team has gone a bit down the gutter this week, but tomorrow there are new trades. I am extremely happy for that, especially this week. Let's rock :)

My plan was Daniels-Roy-Chandler and Howard for Harris-Paul-Biedrins and Hawes (leaving 1 trade but all 4 needed at next refresh) and this roster: Duhon-Harris-Paul-Westbrook Lee-Ariza-Biedrins-Jamison Bynum-Hawes
A 2nd plan has emerged: (No Paul however) Roy-Chandler and Howard for Harris-Biedrins-Hillario then Westbrook & Lee tomorrow for Rondo & C Butler
New Roster (only one trade needed at refresh) Duhon-Harris-Daniels-Rondo Butler-Ariza-Biedrins-Jamison Bynum-Hillario
Any thoughts ?

Was looking at Butler too, it frees 2mil, and Butler produces as good, if not better. But that would be not for tomorrow, since Washington plays Boston. Bosh always does this to me, playing out of his mind when I don't own him.
110
Skipping Paul doesn't seem like the best plan ever to me. You go fast with your trades too. Be careful.

Wasn't planning on running down in the trade department Early mistakes kind of painted me into this corner and I needed to catch up pointwise. But here I am nonetheless. The last 14 day production would net lineup two about 57 less points over the next 7 days but would net RV and bank 2 extra trades (but leave me tradeless way too early this week) but no PAUL

HTG, I agree with Deejay about not having Paul. Maybe I'm in the minority but I don't see holding Paul through his 1 in 5 as a big deal if you are short on trades. Could be a good way to get ahead of the trade curve by just getting Paul and forgetting about him.

I made the Howard to Paul move today. The only other move I'm looking to make is getting out of Ariza. The options are really underwhelming. I do have the flex to go to Berea tomorrow if I want. Any of you guys have any interest in him?

I'm considering going a few different directions. A. Just move Ariza to Barea tomorrow and standing pat for the rest of the week. B. Using two trades tomorrow Packaging Granger and ariza to get Nenee/Rose. My window should hold if I wait until after Arizas' game on friday to go to Nenee. C.Trading Granger and Ariza tomorrow for Butler and Barea. Leaning towards C. at the moment as I have had enough of Granger and Ariza should go tomorrow to protect rv gains. It's also the most efficient of the 3. B. is probably best for rv only but may lose a few points to C. if Barea is to be believed in.

I like A and C reebb. Depends how tired you are of granger, have him on another team, and think I will hold him, sched is still nice and the flex too.

Ariza has a "sell me" tattoo all over his body.
Foye has a "keep me, I love McHale's system and he loves me" tattoo - ok that's a long tattoo - all over his body.
In tattoos I believe.

HTG, going to one trade is dangerous on Wednesday, now Lee appears to be headed to the dreaded " day to day " list. Bad schedule to boot.
Ariza owners, What are your plans. No Hawes, easy transition. Those trading and need a F, good luck. Maybe a cheap G/F ( Simmons, Azu, Graham ) or possibly Bonner.
Florian, looks like you and I were the only team deejay owners to bite on Crawford, are you growing as tired of him, as I am? I'm very tempted to bail, inspite of his golden schedule.
Is Barea someone to consider at this point, or fools gold? Josh Howard is " out indefinatley", whatever that means. Antoine Wright is back as of last game, which didn't seem to have much impact on Barea, but who knows.
Anyway, I am considering:
1) Crawford => Rondo, one less game over two weeks, but at Crawford's recent level, Rondo projects better. Should make some $$. Can be held into the middle of January, far longer than Crawford, especially with his recent play.
2) Crawford => Barea, defiantley a $ maker as well, probably loses points. Leaves some cash on the table for future use
3) Crawford/Daniels => Barea/Rondo
4) Substitute Azu in for Barea in the above
5) Do nothing
Any thoughts?

1 or 2, I would do. Dont really see the need of selling Marquis right now. Azu neither since he gives flex.
If I had the flex I would do Chandler to Barea, but I dont, so I think hes just gonna stay. Have Hawes and dont like any of those 4mil F(C) dudes.

Dave
1) by far. I love Rondo. I think he's going to make a fortune over the next 2 weeks with multiple buy-in dates and he can be a great long term hold.
I'm not too fond about Barea. He'll gain in the short term for sure but I think he may turn into the next Augustin. It seems to me that Dallas has declared Howard out indefinately to give him some breathe confort so he's not expected back at every game. Barea could be only a week hold.
Azu, I just love him for his flex and he can make decent money over the next week but if that means dumping Daniels, it's seems uncessary and lateral to me.

Dave: I too am sick of Crawford. I agree with the plan to sell him for Rondo. That means 2 of 3 Golden St. players (Jackson) bought for the long-term last week have now been sold.
Not really convinced I want Barea on my team as I don't think Howard will be out all that much longer.
I'd buy Simmons before Azubuike as he is 1 million cheaper, can't really lose money and has a better schedule.
I was going to sell Chandler for Hawes, but Ariza has this giant "Sell Me" sign on him, so he's gone.
Debating on whether I want to sell Chandler for either Bonner or Simmons, but after his 46 point outburst last night I'm likely going to keep him.

And I plan to hold Foye as it looks like McHale is intent on giving him lots of playing time.
I'm sick of Bosh's poor production as well, but his schedule is too good to sell him yet.

Sounds like the consensus is Crawford => Rondo. I've had my eye on him for a while anyway, so this just gives me the option to go for it now.
I also agree on Barea, but the money is tempting. I have other teams I can get him on, maybe from Ariza, that will quench my thirst for the next DJ Augustin. I really think Wright's return will have more impact than people think, regardless on how long Howard is out.

I was really sick yesterday and totally out of it. So I mistakenly traded Azubuike instead of Ariza Berea. I'm going to just move Ariza today for Nenee because my window is only 30k.
On top of that I might not have power for 3 days because of a big ice storm, so I won't have time to do any planning.
Sorry guys.

I'm sorry I haven't been more vocal so far. It just seems like every decision people are trying to make is off my radar. Looking at ownership, the only high % guys I have are Paul and Foye. I haven't Ariza for even a day for example.
I'll try and do a better job of putting myself your shoes and giving some feedback.

Anyone have more info on Dwight Howard? TSN has him saying it's not serious. It looks like I'm the only guy still holding him so there ay not be a lot of money to los, but if he sits it defeats the whole purpose of holding him while everyone else dumped him.

Ender, you may be the only one still " holding " Howard. But I'm the genius who decided to give up a Bosh game and buy back in early to Howard.
Looked like a brilliant move for half a game last night, but now....
Unfortunately I won't be around to monitor lineups tonight so I'm not sure what to do.
I had also planned on Bynum => Nene tonight, but I'm not sure if that's all worth it. No games are gained though Christmas.

Rotten timing, Dave, to say the least. I'm hoping he plays tonight (and beyond of course).
As for the other move, if you don't gain games it's probably not worth it. If you think he'll out point him on average then I guess depends on how much.

He's not in the lineup tonight. I don't have time to make an informed trade so I'll deal with it and figure it out tomorrow. If I had 2 trades I might go to Biedrins, but I'll sit and come up with a master plan.

Looks like our two Howard owners ( myself included ) shed him yesterday, seems he's doubtful to questionable tonight. Bosh to Howard early didn't work our for me, and now Bosh seems to have it back together. Bah.
So I guess the Paul to Howard move is up in the air. Especially if Howard does sit tonight, so I may just hold Paul. Maybe by Thursday better info will be out, but I'm not sure the risk is worth it. Plus his first two games are vs SA and LAL, not that anyone can really derail Superman.
Maybe it's better to have him get a few games under his belt. Playing every other day there are easy entry's in to him.
Looks like Stuckey is the next addition to consider as moves to him from Duhon, Daniels ( maybe even Barea, depending on tonight) will be popular.

Let me add, I fully expect the Magic to be cautious with him, be it tonight or otherwise. So I guess if he plays/sits tonight or is deemed ready by Thursday, the team will be convinced he is 100% and no chance of permanent injury is possible. Not to say, future incidents like this weekend could happen.

I was contemplating moving Daniels today to Stuckey, giving up a Daniels game. The optimum date for that would be 12/21, getting 3 Daniels games to 2 for Stuckey.
Daniels performance last night has given me reason to pause. I hate to miss out on 5 days of gains by Stuckey. Of course a lousy start to the week by him could derail his train also. But I think he's the real deal.
For those with Foye or Duhon, today or tomorrow makes sense. Any thoughts on an early exit of Daniels?

I'm torn right now. Thinking it has to do with Washington, and Stuckey plays them tomorrow, BUT Marquis plays GSW.
Dwight not playing kind of changes it all. And there is Bosh/Calderon of which I'm not really satisfied, despite a little sprint towards the end of the game last night.
For me Calderon to Stuckey on 21 would work too. But as you say Dave, that is missing gains.
Camby might be someone I like today.

I would think the money gains would make Daniels-> Stuckey worthwhile today.
For me, Rasho and Duhon have to go. Ideally, I would pick up Stuckey and Rondo but I can only get 1 guard. Looking at picking up Perkins and Stuckey.
This leaves me 3.4 million to deal with Hawes down the line; guess I will unfortunately have to pass on Rondo this time around.
Tentatively still planning on doing the Paul-Howard triangle if I hear he is playing for sure Thursday night.

I think I'm going to go ahead and make the Barea to Stuckey trade. Holding Daniels for 5 more days allows me more options when I package him with Granger.
Still undecided on Bosh to Camby. I have to figure out what I want to do down the line before I make that trade.

Foye -> Stuckey as planned.
Contemplating Daniels -> Rondo tomorrow. Doing it Sunday would gain a Daniels game but that assumes it's the 35+ Daniels who shows up this week, not the 14 one. And money wise tomorrow is definitevely better.
I'm planning to skip Wade for the foreseable future. I'm planning to skip Howard until he's proven to be Howard again so that likely means holding Paul through the 1-in-5.
US, what's wrong with Hawes ? I'm planning to hold him well beyond the new Year.
