Yeah I don't think he's screaming buy, but I don't really see any other better options tonight or tomorrow. I don't feel comfortable selling Duhon right now and committing to skipping Brook Lopez for Blatche / Skinner. Jefferson I figure can make some money in the next week and then I can get out at various points. Camby is a sell though at this point, right?

Yeah, I think Camby's a sell. I did the Camby to Granger move which feels completely stupid... or maybe I'm the one the feels stupid... and I'll try to figure out what to do about Du tomorrow. Hopefully the news will be good. I agree with those that think he'll do whatever he can to play tomorrow.

I've made and undone this trade half a dozen times now. Went Camby=>Granger. If Duhon becomes a sell at least I still have Wade.
So tomorrow is the crapshoot with my last trade. Do I trade out of Wade for a short term play (ALJeff/Kobe/Pau) or just hold him? Seems with the Camby fiasco Wade my not take as big a hit.

I think Camby's sells will happen mostly today and Wade's tomorrow so I don't think it will be all that diluted...there will just be fewer trades happening
That said, I will likely be holding with the injuries this weekend

It might not be diluted due to trade volume, but it may be diluted due to managers not having enough trades after using unplanned ones this week on on Millsap, Camby and/or Duhon.
That being said. Holding Wade has been my plan all along. I could definitely see the argument for triangling him with a number of players (Lebron, Camby, Granger, Stoudemire, etc.), but I never found a plan that I liked.

I set my alarm to wake up at 1:30am Hong Kong time to check if Shaq was in the starting lineup. Both Yahoo and ESPN starting lineups were both unavailable before freeze so I passed on Shaq and bought Foye instead. I fully expect Duhon to play today but I doubt he'll be effective or could re-injure himself at some point down the stretch given his heavy workload.
I'll get Granger for the very first time this season from Wade today, so by all means expect him to fall from stud to dud.

I think I'm going to hold Wade. I just don't see the point. With all the chatter suggesting he is going to be a big by later in the week makes me nervous to let him go.
If anyone can convince me that 2 extra Jeff or Kobe games is worth 2 trades, then I'll pull the trigger. Otherwise I'm standing pat today.

I'm trying to plan some rotations as best I can with the lack of concrete news on Camby and Baron anywhere.
- I'm 99% sure I'm moving Duhon for Millsap tomorrow.
- I have to figure out what to do with Bargnani. I could hop on the next comparably priced train that I feel better about (Lopez), hold him and hope he doesn't suck and keeps gaining (already has 560 owners and hasn't been dazzling anyone lately), or look into cheap options like Skinner / Mardy.
- I think I want Lopez, but at current prices I'm somewhere around 500k short for this rotation I want to do. Skinner wasn't great today, but if Camby's out a long time he can be valuable (not to mention Randolph and Kaman...). And Mardy is making me pay for not taking him originally, but the threat of Baron coming back is greater each day.
- My plan all along was to hold Wade. I think I may have found a rotation that could make sense (not sure yet) that involves trading him for Kobe, but this effectively locks up all my guard slots and would also require skipping Lopez for Skinner.
- I don't think I'm going to be able to fit the so called big five. It will get even more complicated when Camby gets back in the mix. I have no idea how to plan this since we have no information on how long he's out, and if he's playing he's a must have.
Anyone have any thoughts in general? I'm pretty sure I'll be holding Wade. Fortunately I don't have to make any other decisions tonight, but if I do commit to selling Wade then I essentially also commit to skipping Lopez and selling Bargnani for Skinner/some other cheap F or C.

I'm 99% sure now I'm holding Wade. I found a hold-Wade plan where I can choose from any of Lopez / Blatche / Skinner / Collins tomorrow that should generate plenty of points, money, and flexibility. All sell-Wade plans create some locked-in rotations and make me skip Dwight which I don't think is good.
I think it may be too tough to have all of the Big 5 in the near future (Lebron, Wade, Paul, Howard, Kobe). Four shouldn't be a problem, though passing on Kobe makes me nervous. This doesn't even factor in Camby though.

Haha, with the way Mardy Collins is playing that is 100% a true statement.
The Kings are intriguing but they make me nervous also. The schedule is dense but it doesn't fit well into some other key players.
Miller has obviously been fantastic lately, but I fear him for two reasons - the trade rumors, and the fact that took a giant dump for me earlier in the year while tying up money I needed to go elsewhere.
Salmons has also been amazing, but with him that means if I pick him up he won't crack 15 for three games.
Martin has been playing below his capability, but very consistently so. All of his averages are very close together.
How would you guys rank the options of Lopez, Collins, Blatche, and Skinner?

Yeah now that there's news on Camby being back in 7-10 days Skinner isn't too realistic.
Blatche was great again today but it was the Warriors. His ownership is the biggest strike against him, followed by the coaching staff inexplicably not playing him for the full game.
Lopez has really been good, and I like the way his averages are ascending (27, 31, 33, 39). I don't really know anything about him though, are these minutes and good play going to continue?
Mardy is the bane of my existence. I get him, Baron comes back. I don't get him, Baron puts on 50 lbs and shatters his knee while watching television. It's an impossible to read situation at this point and I wish I had gambled on him earlier instead of the likes of Tyrus, Bargnani, etc.

Yeah I'm leaning towards Lopez at the moment. I need to get out of these sudden forced-sell situations.
After moving Duhon and Bargnani today, I hopefully won't have any moves until Sunday. That's going to be the next big decision day probably. I have Camby-in and Camby-out plans, so I should be ok (provided Camby comes back that day).

New lesson: When selling Marcus Camby for Al Jefferson, make sure you update the price difference in your spreadsheet.
Fortunately it looks like I'll still be able to complete my basic rotations, but for one slot that 600k or so that I thought I'd have may hurt a bit. I could take Blatche over Lopez, but I don't want to deal with that. I think I'm locking in Lopez.
Am I crazy for skipping Mardy Collins? Should I be skipping Lopez for him (and thereby saying I'm also skipping Kobe 100%)?

Philsphan, I see that you still have Jeffries... Do you have any particular plans for him?
I held him for a while for the position eligibility and his low price, but in the end couldn't deal with is inconsistency... Jumped out of him to Jordan, but when Jordan goes south, I'm seriously considering moving to a more consistent, non-flash in the pan, cheapie like Telfair. He probably won't get out of gravity but he's at 500K and averaging 24-25 TNSP a game. If you're tied into a cheapie slot and need some reasonable production, he (or others like him) might be worth a shot... I admit that if I'm cash strapped when Jordan's boat sinks I'd probably go that route.

My plan is to go to Gordon today from Jeffries, and slide Granger back to F. I officially got tired of Jeffries last night.
I'm not as sure that Jordan's time is up all that soon. I think (hope) Camby is going to be out a while longer. If not, I'll pobably find another cheapie for that slot, and then move to Camby from Lee.
For me, the longer Camby is out the easier this stays...

Yep. Jordan's future is completely tied to Camby's return, but I'm still unsure when that will be and there have been indications that he might be back sooner than expected (hard as that may be to believe, given the subject matter).
My own moves today were Duhon and Ridnour to Gordon and Murphy.
I haven't been following the McGuire situation but Rotoworld has this on him...
DeShawn Stevenson (sore lower back) was in uniform on Saturday but received a DNP-Coach's Decision.
Stevenson has missed 12 consecutive games and coach Ed Tapscott wants him to go through a few practices before returning to action. He is shooting 32% from the field this season, but his playing time could spoil the production of Dominic McGuire and Nick Young.

Maybe this news will help stop the bleeding...
Terry Porter says Shaquille O'Neal, who has rarely played in both games of back-to-back sets this season, will likely play on Sunday (Hawks) and Monday (Wizards) as the Suns try to get their season turned around.
"I doubt he'll get one of these off," Porter said. "He's had enough rest. We need everybody collectively to get us through this." If the Suns lose to the Hawks today they'll be 1-5 over their last six games. Porter is probably fighting for his job, although our guess is Amare Stoudemire wouldn't mind if Porter was replaced in the near future. If Shaq is somehow still available in your league, this news makes him worth owning in nearly all formats.

Hey guys, I've been out of town for a few days, I just got home and am trying to catch up now. Blooki filled me in on some news over the past few days.
- Originally I had been planning on moving Lebron and Lee for Kobe and a mystery 4 million or so F or C. Then after thinking about it I really didn't want to trade Lee, especially since I wouldn't have a way back in. My alternative plan into Kobe would be selling Lopez for Jordan, but I see that's no longer an option. And now with Ellis back and with Camby possibly back tonight, it looks like I'm going to skip Kobe for now.
- If Camby is in the lineup today, I'm thinking about moving Lebron and Lopez for Camby and Ellis. I'd get Lebron back by his next game. I'm almost completely out of the loop, but on paper this sounds good. If Camby isn't in the lineup, then I'm probably not making any moves.

Pretty sure I'm holding Lee. The players with stars next to their names are ones that will be sold sometime in the next few days or couple weeks depending on what happens. I think everyone else is either a longterm hold or essentially a longterm hold (small in and out triangle rotations).
Due to Camby's health, I don't really have a set plan right now. I see Ellis did not do well last night. I wonder if I should still plan for him. The only ways I can get him are if Camby comes back (Jefferson to Camby at some point, freeing up the money for Lopez to Ellis) or by downgrading Lopez (don't like any F or C options right now) and moving Foye (not necessary) to Ellis. So for now, it's a wait and see thing I guess.
I think I'll be passing on Kobe unfortunately. Paul and Wade lock up two guard spots, and then there are a lot of good cheaper options coming up (Foye if I hold him, Ellis, Sessions, Stuckey, etc.)

I'm not overly worried about the Lee losses, I think he's established himself as one of those value players that we're going to want back immediately. Kind of like how some people sold Granger a little while ago and then a couple days later he was a gainer again.
At the moment I'm kind of regretting selling Bargnani for Lopez. That's a tough call though, Bargnani I guess is the safer pick (if he can ever be called safe).

Something happened to the franchise value change on the table - the FVC totals showing appear to combine the last two days worth of changes - but the FV and all the rest of the data is correct. Not sure what happened, but no harm, no foul.
