As always, there are a dozen little things to do, but first and foremost, we need to get confirmations on who is returning to the league for this season! Just curious: Can someone without commissioner abilities try this link to see if it works: http://games.espn.go.com/fba/tools/showkeepers?leagueId=43470 I'm hoping that it is available to all league members, in which case we can use it as the master keeper source. I know it says the keeper deadline is Monday, but we will need to push that forward, in all likelihood. However, the ESPN system only allows for Monday keeper dates (which seems quite odd.) | ||||||

I have offered to honcho the draft, and Species has accepted my offer, given his schedule difficulties and occasional forum blockages. So here is my plan: 1. Keepers are due by 3PM ET (noon PT) Saturday, Oct 17. I will set up a separate thread for you to post your keepers. 2. You must also register for the draft at kafenatid.net by the keeper deadline. This is essential, as I must input keepers and draft picks trades before we start the draft, but I cannot do that until all managers are signed up. 3. The draft will start on an untimed basis as soon as I can get kafenatid set up. This will probably be some time on Sunday. 4. The draft clock will start on Monday morning. We will try to adhere to similar timing standards as in previous years, although kafenatid cannot monitor a cumulative clock limitation. I can try to do that manually, however, if needed. Given prior RIHC drafts, I would expect the draft to require 5-6 days. That should complete the draft by next Friday or Saturday. | ||||||

I would only plan to impose a cumulative clock limit if a manager has been chronically tardy and we need to move ahead. I certainly do not plan to track cumulative clocks for everyone. | ||||||

I apparently don't have commish powers on ESPN. Tosh - any help? Or will I have to somehow get Ref to do it? I know Ref would want to keep the "spirit" of the G20 leagues -- high attention, high participation, high standards -- up by continuing to have us use the tight per-pick and cumulative clocks. So long as there are no objections to having it be more objective per Guru in posts 126 and 128, then I am game. Just no bitching if you are the person called out - and with my schedule this weekend, that includes myself!! Thanks Guru for administering the draft. | ||||||

If you didn't receive it, you might want to check your spam folder, or else make sure that the email address at the league site is accurate. Otherwise, you won't be receiving any trade offers or any other site-generated emails. | ||||||

Frick - to change your email, I think you have to change your email address for the master ESPN account. Click on your name in the extreme upper right of the screen. Then click on the "Edit Profile" tab. Your email address is at the bottom of that page, where you should be able to change it. | ||||||

All keepers have been set up at ESPN, and all other players have been released. You can use the ESPN player universe to "scout" your draft opportunities now. Although we will be using kafenatid for the draft itself, we'll try to keep ESPN updated as well, so that you can screen through the universe of available players.
