Sorry for thread hijack.

It doesn't matter how many trades I have if I keep having brain farts. Last year I remember one team had a huge trade advantage on qwert, and he ended up passing that team on the last night because I used each one in a spectacularly terrible fashion.

I made my decision for tonight though, it's funny, I forgot what day it was when you posted that and went into panic mode.

But I think you're going to stay ahead of me the rest of the way honestly, I think I'm playing for second, especially after this past week. Tyreke over Westbrook killed me, and then your picking up of Kidd and Boozer just sealed it. It's funny, when you got Kidd I was happy - I had completely blocked him out as an option due to my extreme bias against him and completely ignored the fact that his averages were all in the 40s or higher. You've been making much better moves than I have all year.

Would have made the swing by 0.02, wow. If Collison had bled at all as I was expecting it would have closed. Oh well. 340k as a consolation prize so far.

Haha, I think I may actually need it very soon too strangely.

I'm assuming a lot of people today are going to be debating between Blatche and Curry. Hate the fact that everything's on the road for GSW, but then again Ellis and Maggette are both out.

I'm going to be away on vacation in the Dominican Republic with my wife and four little children from March 8-22nd inclusive. I not sure I'll be able to get internet access while I'm away. If anyone could teamsit for me it would be greatly appreciated. I have three identical teams and would leave a plan for a few trades. And if injuries occured I'd leave it up to whoever is teamsitting.

Probably go Randolph to Boozer today, Gasol to Iguodala on Sunday, Curry to Louis Williams on Sunday and keep the rest of my team the same.

hmm 2 bad games in a row for tyreke and he is at close to max capacity (whopping 45%) owned

I'm really thinking of moving him into devin harris today. But that will cut me out of being able to go LBJ>wade in 3 days and instead rely on LBJ> Bosh hopefully back.

Someone talk me out of it!
Also is anyone else planning a tyreke move this week before the thursday popular sell off.

its not that his schedule fits nicely into anyones, its just that its a definite trend that mass owned players get sold on their last b2b before a blip, and if he continues a subpar performance i can definetly see him bleeding bits (not that it matters for those not RV minded anymore since its end of season)

I see evans > curry on thursday as a popular move for one and given that day will be a low trading day I think that will amount to atleast a triple digit loss even if its just 15-20 so people.

I may be more inclined to move him then others because I need to get rid of him this week anyway if I were planning on LBJ>wade (i have no flex and kicking myself now for choosing gerald over sjax.) Wade is looking like a must own for next week with the way he is playing and i'm stuck at the G position with Rondo and Deron definite holds and its not like I will trade collison out after I already kept him through his bleeds.

Problem is I don't have any clear transitions from tyreke. Basically to get wade i would need a forward for tyreke on tuesday or get a G/F from him before then. My last ditch effort would be to just trade him to SJAX on tuesday for a lateral move just to make the positioning work. Other then g/f's im looking at tyrus thomas/AK47 on tuesday but those are riskier moves. If I don't go for the wade/sjax duo it would force me to trade LBJ for iguodala (i really hate iguodala) as the only option out (J smith> Boozer is already locked that day as well.)

If you have any other suggestions please tell because I don't see anything else =(.

I wonder how accurate any of this Paul information is. Getting very tempted to take Collison, have a feeling it's one of those make or break moves. Would you guys feel comfortable buying him? It wouldn't make sense if Paul comes back any sooner than 3/20. I know 3/12 and 3/14 have been kicked around as dates, but then there was that report today that he hasn't even run yet. Collison has sort of proven that he's for real by now, it's just an issue of Paul staying out.

I went with him also, figured I had to take the risk and that you probably would too.

Zach's out for the night! Wasn't announced on rotoworld. Realizing that a bit earlier could have made things a bit more interesting, but part of me is glad he's frozen and we've all got him. We can just deal with it tomorrow instead.

It's the worst feeling. It's funny because we probably would have noticed it too if we hadn't been so focused on Collison. I'm honestly relieved I missed it, situations like that are when I make really, really dumb moves.

SU and team weykool: another stuck decision time for my squads,

Only definite person on my trading block for tomorrow is Josh Smith. Problem is, only person that is worth getting for my team tomorrow that I don't already have is Wade and I have no flex. (Already have Dwight/Deron/Boozer/Gerald W/rondo etc.)

So if I want Wade, I will need to rid a guard slot and the only slot worthy of opening is cutting tyreke early.

This leaves me with 2 options.

1. To just use 1 trade > Josh Smith into Iguodala
Gives me the flex til I get Durant back, and a good schedule for a couple weeks with nice transitions into targets over those 2 weeks. However I think i can speak for all of us when I say I would rather not get iguodala unless absolutely forced to. I also will go into the next week with 6 million banked.

2. The trade im leaning towards is to trade Tyreke + Josh Smith into Wade + a F/C that is under 7 million. (Need to save some $$ to get back into LBJ from DHOW) While it is lateral to trade evans on a b2b to another player for those 2 days ... I think Wade's games vs Iggy's games will amount to alot more points gained and warrants the extra trade IMO, also since Wade goes directly into the OKC trade in day.
The F/C under 7 million im looking into is Kaman or KG, but leaning towards Kaman. I don't like either buy very much but its the drawback to getting wade. I will only be holding those 2 guys for a few days til I move them back into J smith or someone else so the risk taking them will only be 5 games.

I think I already made up my mind but just seeing if you guys can give suggestions or think it is stupid to trade out of evans tomorrow given my team situation.

In situations like that I think you have to break it down game by game and try to just let the math tell you where to go. Yesterday I came up with a plan that looked amazing on paper (much better than my current one) and let me get everyone I want at almost the ideal time - working out the math, it somehow came down to 8 points for two trades. Option 2 looks a lot better just on gut, but I'd be careful with throwing away the back to back - it's very difficult to show that good mathematically. But again that's real tough too because as you said, Iguodala is generally not fun to own and is one of the hardest players to predict.

Yea well I completly did out the numbers of all projected spots for the next two weeks based on the two situations

In the end it came to roughly five wades vs five iggys and the difference in rv of wade gains vs. Tyreke losses for next week ..for the price of one trade.
Taking season averages it isn't really worth it but taking the 15 day avgs it is more then worth it.

Just have to decide on a midpriced f/c ...kaman or kg or someone elde I forgot

I dont know that I would burn the trade to force Wade.
Towards the end of the season there will be DNP's galore as players sit to gear up for the playoffs.
Im sure banking the trade would net you more points than giving up a b2b to get another b2b.

the b2b for a b2b only looks ugly for the short term

the real game difference is 5 wade/ 5 kaman vs. 5 iggy / 5 evans for the price of a trade. On season averages i'm only gaining 20. But the 15 day averages show alot more, I know its skewed because Wade had 3 big games in a row but I really hate iggy! But it seems a lot of people are getting him though, since I can't decide I think I'm going to do option a on 1 team and B on the other.

So how is everyone getting back to lebron? Is he a definite go for tommorow?

I went in this week with the plan to move into him from my weakest player. And after only two games that appears to be iggy.
I'm trading tonight so hopefully lebron is definitely playing tommorrow?

what would you guys rather have Melo vs. Hou/Was

vs.

Gasol (reduced minutes) vs. GSW/Sac

can't make a decision

might just take the Howard losses and durant it up 2 days late but rather do one of the first 2 options for a trade

MATIC - I'd go with Gasol simply because Melo's games are more likely to be blowouts, thus limiting his play.

heh true but ...LAL vs GSW and SAC are both going to be blowouts too lol

i mean they are good fantasy teams to face but Gasol is also supposedly under reduced minutes for rest of season by phil jackson as well (i think i read that in rotoworld some weeks ago).

I think they will both produce around the same, i would expect a little under 40 from either of them on average

was going to just save the trade (because i realized i needed 7 for next week to do what i wanted to do) and keep howard for his next b2b.

But then i realized my window for Evans > Westy and Blatche > Bogut on wednesday only has a window of like 300k. It would really suck to miss that so I think im going to make the 2 day trade for Gasol or Melo tonight to gaurantee the window ... I see odom on the starting lineup in the ESPN box scores instead of gasol is there a reason for that or is it just wrong.

only problem i have now is I would only be able to trade 2 of the 3 at end of next week out of LBJ, collison, Rondo.

Anyone thinking to move today rondo > someone else besides smoove?

I have been itching to lose rondo, and last night put a seal on it but no one great to get into today. Manu would have been definite but his last 2 games say otherwise (although they were blowouts and he had reduced minutes).

Thoughts?

Gay's ownership is above the gravity line (which is somewhere in the 20's) and Harris' is below so Harris lost an extra 30K because of gravity.

so i planned this weeks final moves and while I have the trades to do the perfect rotation (imo) I think i'm going to save one for emergency.

This means I have to make a decision between holding Evans or holding Blatche. Holding Evans would cause me to get westy 2 days late and holding blatche causes me to get Bogut 2 days late.

FV consideration and points lead to me thinking holding evans and booting blatche wins.
