A HUGE thank you to Guru and especially Tosh for their help during the draft in assigning players to their teams on ESPN. Huge thanks to Tosh for restarting the whole damned league as far as ESPN goes in order for us to reset the waiver priority and to get all of the undrafted players on waivers. I now know that I must do some of those things BEFORE I start the offline draft.
We are now ready to go. Thanks to everyone for their patience and for your attention in getting this in on time. |

With just about 5 weeks to go, and no one making a run lately, I thought it was at least worth exploring. Not that I would trade all three. Still, they might be keepers for someone, esp. Hayes, so someone might be willing to at least give their left leg.

Tweet from Chris Ramsay: C-Webb on NBA TV: Heat have to go 18-0 down stretch to match last year's Cavs team record.
Thats interesting. The 'SuperTeam' isn't as good as the squad he had on the other side of the fence.
Dude...Bron...you teamed up with Chris Bosh...what did you think would happen?

If one of the managers at the top of the standings is looking for some 3s down the stretch ... Anthony Morrow and Mike Miller are both available.

[227] As well as Charlie V...when the heck did he become a 3-pt gunner?
Back at UConn. Of course, it also got him a quick Calhoun hook back to the bench on many occasions - unless he happened to be making them that day.
To this day, whenever I watch a UConn game and some player starts jacking up 3s indiscriminately, I always shout at the TV, "Who do you think you are - Charlie Villanueva?!"

With Deron looking at a shutdown I have a few guys for sale similarly... Landry Fields (leading rebounder among guards in the league, 22 years old)... Chase Budinger has been great since the trade deadline (22 years old).... Dejaun Blair or BIllups I'd consider moving and then keeping one of the above instead.

Just to keep things interesting, Wade and Ginobili (2 of my top 6) left their games tonight with injuries. Wade was able to return, but not Gino. With both of them officially DTD, we'll see if trading Terry and Hayes comes back to bite me.

Gino has a left quad contusion--he's day to day. Spurs have a full schedule, but I can't see them putting him out there too much at this point in the season.

Thankfully, Gino was able to just miss one game. It seems they will rest him down the stretch but maybe not...whatever Pop thinks will get them hitting on all cylinders to start the playoffs, which usually of course means some rest or at least reduced minutes for his "old" guys.
Wade is his usual 'day to day but play like an all-star' self, also having missed just one game the last couple weeks. Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good.
What do you think, BMD? How strong is your kick down the stretch? You took me in blocks and points for a four point swing. Good time for your team to peak! Or have you been sneaking up on me for a while now?
William- any gas left in the tank for a final push and/or to hold off Nashty?
Peter...are Hayes and the Jet going to get you enough stats and games played to overtake BMD or Coyotes? Terry is supposedly out of the doghouse already.
Tight race for the five-spot down the stretch.....looking like it could be a four man photo finish.

Wow. It's a TJ Ford sighting tonight. Not played since January. I wonder what will happen this summer for him as a free agent. Obviously he won't be a Pacer, but he's an NBA starter in my opinion. Just not a young guy and not an all-star, so he may or may not get that shot. More likely, he will make a very very strong backup for a contending team like Boston.

Definitely more likely to be passed by Pete than somehow pass Pacers. I doubt either happens but you never know I guess.
Best case scenario is I gain 7 points and that's a extreme long shot. That includes gaining in FG% and FT% both of which I'm barely ahead of a bunch of teams in both. Most likely is I'll gain 2 points in the counting categories and lose 1-2 in the % cats.

BMD, it feels like you get closer to me every night. Looks like Blocks could be a photo finish for us, but it seems you have secured the points championship with a 150 point lead and 12 games to go (10 for you). I'd have to outscore you by 10 points a game...which seems a stretch.
Pete, you'll have to have a couple big nights here to move all the way up to two, but you and coldwater are pretty tight for the three spot.
Best of Luck, all.

I think Brook is beastly next year with a full season from Deron (that is unless you want to trade him to me cheaply...in that case he sucks and its a downward career trend and he'll never come out of it...:)

Congrats PR. The lead you built up was pretty amazing.
Had a lot of fun this year. It's nice when every waiver wire guy you pick up just starts raking(Gortat, Tony Allen, Bayless, Douglas). Really wish we had another week or 2, I think I might've snuck into 1st :)
Just a FYI, as of now, Nicolas Batum, Antawn Jamison, George Hill, and Toney Douglas are all not being kept. Always open to discussions.

I have to give credit to Greg Popovich. Without his decision to move to a more perimeter oriented offense, Manu would not have had his career season which probably put me over the top. Of course, a lot of other things went my way this year as well, like Blake Griffin playing a full season as the human highlight reel and Tyson Chandler and Shane Battier slipping in the draft. Terry might have been a little bit of a disappointment as a round one pick, Dunleavy was a weak pick in round 2, and losing Caron Butler to season ending surgery were some lowlights of my season. Fortunately, Bynum came back strong as I had hoped, Tyson played like the motivated Team USA player I hoped he would when I drafted him, and Battier didn't get traded to Memphis until late in the season. I think trading Tyson for Conley was a key for my season too because he was a better fit for my team at that point. I had just lost Caron (or was just going to lose him) and his steals and was getting Bynum....so giving up Chandlers' big man production for some small ball was just the ticket to help me gain in steals and assists and holding in threes since I was already pretty set in Boards and Blocks, and somehow was ok in FG% too (I think with Bynum coming back and losing Caron - both of those offset the loss of FG% in Chandler to Conley). Chuck Hayes being available on the waiver wire was another boon to help as a glue guy - esp. when I lost most of Battier's production down the stretch to his trade. Hopefully now with a core of young bigs in Bynum, Griffin and Hibbert and a balanced group of smalls in Ginobili, Wade, and Conley, I have a chance to stay competitive for a while.

Re: 257 I won't lie to you, until the final days, I was sweating it...that you might do just that. I was starting to second guess trading Terry and Hayes....for pick #38 next season. If Wade and Ginobili or any of my other guys for that matter had missed significant time the last two weeks, things could have turned out pretty differently.
