Lost in all the Middle East protesting and Wisconsin political chicken is the story of the deadly earthquake in New Zealand.
Apparently the time and place (it struck in the middle of workday, with an epicenter only a few miles from downtown Christchurch) made it much much worse than it otherwise might have been. |
