Not sure if anyone even comes here anymore.
So what are everyone's opinion on what's going on. I heard that Obama can wait until after the election but before the new president takes over to nominate someone for the supreme court. How does that work ? |

Recess appointment might be a legit idea, given the GOP leadership already admitted they were going to defy the will of the constitution.

The republicans would have to be stupid enuff to go on recess for that to happen. Not sure if he gets a window around the elections. I think it has to be a significant window.

If there was any question about who is and is not acting on good faith, Congress was in recess during and for the week following Scalia's death.
If it were President Mith, the recess appointment would have been a transgender Muslim abortion doctor.

people seem to forget that Obama is still president for almost another year.
are asking that he be derelict of his duties for the last year, simply because it's his last year!?!?
he should make appt after appt, and if Congress doesn't approve, than Sanders or Clinton should name Obama to the court.

Yeah, Mith. You'd think he would have realized that good faith means nothing with the twits in Congress.
Missed opportunity.
